A good time to get away from the craziness of building the house.....  Spending time with Pop and Jan in Clinton, SC.  Can you say h-u-m-i-d-i-t-y?  Oh, and the puppy was so "fun" to fly with.

Come to my window

Arrived today to find that the house and studio had windows...!  The progress week to week is truly amazing.  Completion date still targeted for September-ish.  Here's a peek.  The garbage bins and port-o-potty are absolutely gorgeous. ;)  See ya, L.

 

A new addition

Samantha got an early birthday present...introducing TOBY our new 8 week old Pomeranian.  Too cute, huh?  Cory took this snap in our kitchen the day he came home. 
Just what we need- dog number F-O-U-R. 
I think I've finally lost my mind.  Can't wait to take some great pics of him though...think I'll make him my next 'star of the month' on my website.

A second story

Just a little excited that the house and studio officially look like buildings.  Whoo-hoo!  Here are the pics of the studio (with it's new roof) and the new second story on the house.

Framing has begun...  Things are rolling along beautifully and the crew over at Pinnacle homes is doing a great job.  Here are a couple of snaps of the framed studio and most of the first floor.  Woot!!

Found a Foundation!

Progress is progress, right?  The new studio is underway and seeing the foundation was a thrill.  (What can I say, I'm easily entertained?) :)

How many miles?

Did a shoot for a local rock band...13 Miles.  A bunch of really nice guys and I had a blast!

OK, here are the first pictures of the new house/new studio (actually, it's where it will one day sit).  Hey, it may not look lilke much now but I'm STILL excited.  Here's the entry to the community and our lot.

Web Site Under Construction (Still)

Lisa Marie Photography's web site is STILL under construction *sorry*.  Hope to have it up and running by June 1st, so thanks for being patient and check back again soon...lots of new images to show!

The new studio (and our new home) is FINALLY under construction.  Yippee!! Still happy I didn't decide to move to a commercial location, the new studio will be great and my clients and I will have access to the yard for some unique outdoor portraits.  I'll have pictures of the progress next post.
